Maria Guerrero (American, b. Uruguay) is the founder and director of Women in the Arts, Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization established in 2007 in Orlando, Florida. With the support of a generous board of directors and benefactors, her philanthropic mission is to honor the contributions of women artists, expand meaningful access to art education, and build community through the arts.

For over fifteen years, Maria's vision and leadership—shaped by her experience in art, architecture, business, and education—have guided the organization in cultivating long-standing partnerships and developing innovative, impactful programs that are both artistically significant and deeply valued by the public.
