Arnene Q. Owens was an only child that lost her father at a young age. Her loving mother raised her beautifully. Arnene became a career nurse that graced emergency rooms and critical care units in several Florida hospitals.
Her greatest joy was raising her three sons while continuing to nurse. Arnene enjoyed many creative hobbies, such as painting, quilting, sewing, and needlework. During her retirement years, she enjoyed sharing her love of painting and sharing supplies with other residents of the assisted living facility where she resided.
Arnene became a fond admirer of Women in the Arts. She was always so excited to hear what Maria has been up to. Arnene exemplifies the true spirit of Women in the Arts by sharing and paying it forward to others through art. She is surely missed.
