CSA at the Library

Art Summer School 2021

Partner Locations: Hiawassee Library, Eatonville Library.
Type: Remote learning with online instructions.
Cost: Free. Limited registration spots. Art kits are provided
Face masks are required to enter the library. 

The Community School of the Arts invites you to a summer art experience with a set of curated art projects for students in grades PK-12. The program starts June 26 and it has been prepared by instructors at the Community School of the Arts in Orlando, Florida. 

The Art of Illustration

Travel around the world learning about famous illustrators, graphic designers, animators, and photographers who bring to life fantastic stories, fables, fairy tales, and poems. Let your creativity soar by creating a variety of projects and learning about drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media.

Jun. 12 through Jun. 25   Art kit pick-up. 10:00 AM-6:00 PM

How to participate

1. Select your project by grade level.

2. Complete the project at home.

3. Text or email the image or video clip of your completed project. Include your first and last name.

4. Each project is due preferably the same day or within a week. 

    The final deadline per each project is the next Saturday before 2:00 PM ET. 

Equipment Requirements

Students will need access to a computer, laptop, tablet, or cell phone to access and submit assignments.


Parents: your assistance and supervision is recommended and necessary for some of the projects, especially for younger students. 

Partner Locations

Face coverings are required to enter the building. It must cover the nose and mouth.
